250 mls of 5% Formalin, the fixative of choice for zoological materials and a good general fixative. UK only

A can of 500 mls of Toluene, a general clearing agent prior to mounting with Canada Balsam Substitute or Paraffin Wax embedding. The recommended alternative to Xylene. UK only.

100 grams of 56 degree melting point paraffin wax for tissue embedding
