The BST is fitted with a x1 objective as standard, this can have supplementary objectives added which will change the zoom magnification range. The x0.5 lens halves the zoom magnification range but also doubles the working distance.

A universal SLR camera adapter with inbuilt photoeyepiece and a T2 ring (state camera make) to attach any digital 35mm or 4/3rds camera to the BSR.

The mechanical stage has X and Y movement controlled by coaxial mechanism with a central glass plate to allow the transmitted lighting. This should be ordered at the time the microscope is purchased because of the mechanical fitting.

A dark ground attachment which fits over the transmitted light source with a gem clamp.
